Japanese convenience store chain FamilyMart is currently accepting reservations for a limited-edition, Hatsune Miku-themed Christmas cake. Reservations are available at the 9,100 FamilyMart locations across Japan.
The chocolate cake is designed to resemble a piano, and is filled with chocolate cream and raspberry sauce. The cake is topped with a piano keyboard design made from chocolate, as well as an exclusive Hatsune Miku miniature Nendoroid figure featuring Miku dressed as an angel.
The cake measures 6.5 centimeters tall and 13.5 centimeters long, and comes with three candles. It retails for 3,900 yen.
FamilyMart started accepting reservations on October 2nd, and will continue through November 26th. However, quantities are limited, and reservations at each store will end when supplies are exhausted. The cake has proven to be extremely popular, and some stores have already sold through their allotment. The cake will be available for pickup on December 24th.
